We believe every follower of Christ has responsibility of service to and beyond the fellowship body of Christ.  This service will always be to advance the message of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him and to encourage those who have slipped into discouragement and inactivity in serving Christ Jesus.

Following are a few of the opportunities we have of you plugging into service within our church family and beyond...

Van/Bus Driver:  Team up with another adult and serve as a team of 2 in driving the church vehicles for day trips of all ages, drive on Sundays in rotation with other drivers, etc.

Hospitality team:  Serve the church and other ministries through helping with decorations, food, set-ups, clean-ups, and encouragement to those who want to learn how to complete a successful ministry event

Greeter:  Help in our parking lot and church entrances with greeting and giving direction/answering questions concerning the ministries of our church family

Prayer:  Help develop this ministry within our church family to meet prayer need requests and maintain appropriate confidentiality of prayer concerns

First Friends Preschool:  helping in a class, assisting a special program, working in the hall connecting with parents before and after each activity, and there are more ways our Preschool coordinator is able to share with you on how to be involved

First Friends Kids:  Sundays, Wednesdays, special events - our Kids ministry coordinator would be the one to connect you with being involved

Student ministry:  Teacher, helper, games - Sundays, Wednesdays, Special events - contact our Student minister on how you can be involved with students in grades 7-12 or by engaging their parents and families

First Friends Academy:  Volunteer during the weeks of the school year, help with special events

Stewardship:  Teach and serve in the area of life stewardship - financial planning, time management, resource management, etc.

Resource Room:  Our church maintains a resource room for all the craft and supply needs of all ages - this is in constant need of care as supplies get removed, returned, and need re-stocked/re-ordered

Vacation Bible School:  Many items needing done throughout the year - preparation and training - promotion - set-ups and decorations - the VBS action week - follow-up on all decisions occurring during VBS action week - restoring the church to Sunday ready following VBS action week, - and more...

Women's Ministry:  fellowship, Bible studies, trips, encouragement check out our calendar for times

Music Ministry:  help administratively; assist with preschool, kids, student, adult, or special project music teams - present music or vocal presentations - participate in the worship service team

Bible Study:  help within one of our Bible study classes through sending cards, record keeping, small group organization, visits, social media promotion, teach, assistant teach, etc.

Outreach ministries:  organize small groups and individuals to connect with those who are not in regular attendance with our church family and those who have not been introduced to Jesus Christ

Media Library:  assist within our media center to encourage our church to engage in reading and study for personal spiritual/educational growth as well as for enjoyment

Church Properties:  develop paint schemes for different areas of the church - lawn and shrubbery ideas - decorations of various kinds around the church properties that address multi-purpose use spaces

Senior Adult ministries:  participate in day trips - engage in game days - share in fellowship times - assist with travel during the week - lead a Bible study - etc...
